Snooze Breakfast Scottsdale: A Road Trip Adventure

As I reflect on our recent road trip, I'm reminded of the countless memories we created along the way. With over 2,500 miles traveled and numerous stops in between, it's hard to narrow it down to just a few highlights. But, if I had to choose, here are my top 25 road trip memories from our adventure.

First Stop: Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona

Our journey began in the scorching hot Phoenix/Scottsdale area, where we experienced some of the hottest weather I've ever encountered. The blistering heat was a challenge at times, but we still managed to make the most of it and see many amazing sights.

While navigating this new environment with our pup, we quickly realized that she would not be easily worn out on trails and then left snoozing in hotel rooms as planned. Instead, we had to get creative and find ways to keep her occupied while also getting some exercise ourselves. This sometimes meant taking breaks from sightseeing to let her stretch her legs or engaging in activities like breakfast at Snooze, a popular spot in Scottsdale.

Despite the heat, there were plenty of delicious meals to be enjoyed, numerous trails to explore, and an abundance of sightseeing opportunities. However, our timing could have been better – driving through the entire country during the hottest month of the year proved to be quite an ordeal.

As it turned out, we seemed to bring the heat with us wherever we went, as almost every destination had its hottest days forecasted when we were in town. Despite these challenges, we still managed to create many unforgettable memories and have a blast exploring this beautiful region together.
